MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – 3 DAYS
A three-day journey through the history and traditions of the berber tribes of the Atlas mountains, experiencing the pleasure of slow travelling. Ideal for senior travelers and families with children, especially in spring.
An unforgettable slow trip discovering the beautiful landscapes, the amazing colors and the unforgettable flavors of a unique land at the gates of the desert. Starting from Marrakech, we’ll cross the central High Atlas at the Tizi n’ Tichka pass to reach the majestic Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, UNESCO World Heritage since 1987. On the second day, we’ll explore the Ounila Valley traveling along the ruins of the Glaoui Palace in Telouet, the suggestive village of Asaka, carved in to the rocks of a steep canyon, and the beautiful kasbah of Tamdakht. The last day of the trip will be finally dedicated at the discovery of the silent city of Ouarzazate, with its traditional souk, the beautiful Taorirte palace and the lush oasis of Fint, hidden among almond and olive trees in the hearth of an endless and rocky plateau.
