MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – SKOURA – 3 DAYS
A three-day culture tour across the central High Atlas, at the doors of the valley of One Thousand Kasbahs, straight at the heart of the traditions of the Great South of Morocco.
Beyond the Tizi n' Tichka pass, the valley of One Thousand Kasbahs stretches out towards the eastern border between Morocco and Algeria like a secret corridor at the foothills of the Atlas mountains. A magical place where it's still possible to plung into the charm and traditions of ancient berber cultures, travelling along majestic red earth fortresses, steep canyons, lush oasis and endless rocky and desert plateaus shaped ages ago by the force of the ocean. This journey will give us the opportunity to get a first taste of these unique landscapes and explore the most famous and best preserved sites of the Great South of Morocco: the magnificent Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, the oasis of Skoura, one of the last still inhabited and cultivated and finally the silent city Ouarzazate, gateway of the desert, with its traditional souks and the unique elegance of its monuments, like the kasbahs of Taorirte, finely restored.
