We’ll experience every day a wide range of outdoor activities, in an atmosphere of pure relax and enjoyment: riding a donkey around the majestic Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, learning the ancient tea and saffron paintings techniques, exploring the troglodytes caves in the heart of the Ounila valley or walking across lush oasis, following the traces of ancient nomadic tribes... Stages of the trip

Welcome to Morocco!
Private transfer from the airport to your riad located in the ancient medina of Marrakech. Welcome tea with Moroccan pastries. Relax. Meeting with the local guide for an introduction to the trip. Afterwards, a fun adventure by tuk tuk or bicycle to discover the amazing atmospheres of the medina of Marrakech. Free evening. In the hot season, fun by the pool in the riad.

Ounila Valley
Starting from Marrakech, we’ll head south to reach the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, travelling along the ancient caravan trade route of the Ounila Valley. We’ll stop near the Berber village of Telouet to explore the old salt mines through which the Ounila river flows, giving its name to this valley full of charm and traditions. On the way to Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll stop again near the village of Tezleft for a short excursion at the troglodytes caves, inhabited in prehistoric times. Overnight staying in the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, with traditional games and stories of the desert, at the rhythm of the Berber music.

Ait Ben Haddou
We'll wake up early in the morning for a donkey trek in the surroundings of the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, across lush gardens and wide expanses of red earth dotted with palm trees. We’ll then explore the ksar and its narrow alleys, on a guided tour including visits to local families and ancient artisan shops, where local craftsman will teach your kids the ancient tea and saffron painting techniques. Evening with a local family to learn how to make a proper traditional Moroccan couscous.

Oiasis of Skoura
We’ll enjoy a third day trip full of adventure along the road of One Thousands Kasbahs. We’ll explore the oasis of Skoura, one of the last in Morocco still inhabited and cultivated, with a guided visit of the ancient kasbah of Amridil and a picnic in the palm grove. Upon request, horse-riding and/or mountain biking tours in the oasis.

Todra Gorges
We’ll continue our journey along the valley of One Thousand Kasbah heading east towards the Todra Gorges, the perfect place for nature exploring and accessible walking tours into the lush green of the oasis, along old nomadic paths.

Roses and Dadés Valleys
In the morning, we’ll stop at the Dadès Valley for an unmissable short walk to the Monkey Paws rocks, with their curious rounded shapes. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Rose Valley and its beautiful Kasbahs, with a guided visit of a local roses distillery.

Ouarzazate
Our last day trip will be made of fun and entertainment, with a guided visit to the spectacular installations of the Cla Studios in Ouarzazate, in a picturesque desert landscape. Return trip across the Central High Atlas and arrival in Marrakech in the evening.
